Privacy Policy
Effective 23 July 2026
Your budget is your business. Tillday stores your financial information on your device. We do not require an account, connect to your bank, run advertising, track you across apps, or sell your information.
1. About this policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Tillday (“Tillday”, “we”, “us” or “our”) handles information when you use the Tillday mobile application and this website. It is intended to meet the transparency requirements for apps distributed through the Apple App Store.
2. Information you enter in the app
You may choose to enter information such as your pay cycle and payday, income names and amounts, expense names and amounts, budget categories, bill due dates, payment status, and spending activity.
This information is stored locally on your device using the device’s app storage. Tillday does not transmit this information to us or store it on our servers.
3. Information we collect
We do not collect personal information or financial information through the current version of the Tillday app. In particular, the app does not include:
- User accounts or sign-in
- Bank or financial institution connections
- Analytics or advertising software
- Cross-app or cross-website tracking
- Location, contacts, photos, health or biometric data collection
- Third-party data sharing or data sales
The app may use standard operating-system functions, such as haptic feedback, which do not provide us with your personal information.
4. Website information
This website does not ask you to create an account or submit financial information. Like most hosted websites, the infrastructure provider may process limited technical information—such as an IP address, request time, browser type and security logs—to deliver and protect the site. We do not use this information to build advertising profiles or track you across other services.
5. How information is used
Information you enter in the app is used only on your device to provide Tillday’s budgeting features, including calculating available amounts, organising bills by pay period, recording spending and displaying your activity.
6. Storage, retention and deletion
Your app data remains on your device for as long as the app and its local data remain installed. You can remove that data by deleting the Tillday app from your device. Your device or Apple account settings may separately retain an encrypted device backup; those backups are controlled by Apple and your settings, not by Tillday. You can manage or delete them through your Apple account and device settings.
Because we do not receive a copy of your in-app budget data, we cannot view, recover or delete it for you.
7. Disclosure of information
We do not sell, rent or share the financial information you enter in Tillday because that information is not sent to us. We may disclose limited website technical information if required by law or where necessary to protect the security and integrity of the website.
8. Security
Tillday relies on the security features of your device and operating system to protect locally stored data. You should use a device passcode, Face ID or Touch ID and keep your operating system up to date. No storage method is completely secure, so please avoid entering information you do not need Tillday to calculate your budget.
9. Children’s privacy
Tillday is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since the app has no accounts and does not send the information entered in the app to us, we do not receive children’s budget data.
10. International users
Tillday is developed in Western Australia. Website requests may be processed by infrastructure providers in locations outside your country. The financial information entered in the app remains on your device and is not transferred to us.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when Tillday’s features or legal obligations change. We will publish the revised policy here and update the effective date. If a future app feature collects or transmits data, we will update this policy and the App Store privacy disclosures before that feature is released.
12. Contact
Questions, privacy requests or concerns can be sent to richard@tripleit.com.au. Please do not include sensitive financial information in your message.
Based on the current app implementation, Tillday’s App Privacy response is “Data Not Collected”. This must be reviewed if analytics, crash reporting, accounts, cloud sync, subscriptions or other online services are added.
